What Kaddy apps can do
A Kaddy app can keep records, show them on a screen composed from Kaddy's catalog, change them through buttons and named actions, and be used through an assistant with memory, voice and a schedule. It can connect selected tables to services Kaddy supports, and it can be shared without mixing its records or memory into another app. This page brings those capabilities together.
What an app can do
- Keep records in tables with typed columns, and validate every write against them.
- Show a screen from the catalog: layout, live lists with search, forms, summary numbers, controls, dialogs, all styled by Kaddy for phone and desktop, light and dark.
- Name filtered and ordered lists of records, and repeat a card per record.
- Let a control save, change or delete a record, run a named action, open the assistant in Chat or Voice, or change what is shown; ask for confirmation first; and compute a sum, count, matching count, percentage or streak.
- Declare named actions with rules, and mark the ones that must wait for your approval.
- Have an assistant with memory, procedures it loads when relevant, a chosen model, a live voice call, and one scheduled turn at a time you choose.
- Mirror a table from your Obsidian vault or a Notion database through Kaddy's connections, with conflicting edits held for you to resolve.
- Be shared with viewers and editors, or by public link; be versioned, rolled back, backed up and restored.
Apps have their own space
Each app has its own records, its own assistant and its own memory. Today, the reading assistant does not know about dinners, and one app cannot change another app's tables. This keeps each app understandable and lets you share one without sharing the rest.
Cross-app coordination is planned for the future: ways to ask across your apps or let them work together without erasing those boundaries. Until that arrives, a change that matters to two apps is made in each one.
